Our organization has a Win2008 server running KMS. &nbsp;The key for Office 2010 Standard was successfully registered.<br />
<br />
41 of 50 WinXP clients have had no problem automatically contacting the server for a successful activation.<br />
<br />
However, there is just ONE WinXP client that is unable to activate. &nbsp;The client’s event logs show communication attempts with the KMS server, but I’m not even able to force-activate it via VAMT or command line.<br />

Please see screenshot for the “dstatusall” regarding the KMS client.<br />

I haven’t done anything to the Win2008 server yet, but I’ve already tried a bunch of things on the client machine (resetting folder perms, validating XP, etc).<br />

Any other suggestions much appreciated.<br />

Office 2010 -- KMS Client activation issue (Error 0x4004F00C)

Microsoft Office is an integrated suite of applications that includes Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio and InfoPath, along with a number of tools to assist in making the individual components work together. Coding within and between the projects is done in Visual Basic for Applications, known as VBA.
