We have a 2960 switch, with no port security. &nbsp;We need to replace a server that is attached to F0/11, but keeping the same IP. &nbsp;Initally, the switch will be confused, since the ARP table will be wrong. &nbsp; Clearing ARP is the preferred solution, but if the network adminstrator is not around, will a PING from the new host to any other host automatically reset that ARP entry?
