The question is most certainly NOT answered. I can do a google search all by myself - and the links suggested by the 'EXPERT' do NOT answer the stated question. In fact, they have wasted my time, which was what I was trying to avoid. Rasberries. Now where is that cancel membership button....

OK, well I guess there has been a miscommunication for which I am to blame. I meant to ask when Excel will have an object model included directly in the .NET framework. I've known and used the interoperability interface for a loooooong time. <br />
Anyways, this was Just an off-hand question out of curiousity. <br />
Still don't want to give any points for a 5 second google search :)<br />

Will there ever be a .NET interface to the excel object model ?

The .NET Framework is not specific to any one programming language; rather, it includes a library of functions that allows developers to rapidly build applications. Several supported languages include C#, VB.NET, C++ or ASP.NET.
