It Is Official!

We just had news: the 5M threshold was passed minutes ago. The profile page has been updated, the results are confirmed. No doubt, emotions must be running high in San Luis Obispo.

Once more, congratulations on your achievements. Plural to add the entry in the top-100 “hall of fame” a few weeks ago, the top-10 yearly list, second place overall this month, not to mention top yearly Access expert at this time. Your ever expanding expertise is an inspiration; a story-book evolution from Asker to Top Expert.

Thank you also for your hard work as Zone Advisor, Clean-up Volunteer, and Page Editor, but most of all for your continued kindness and patience, showing us daily how to handle ungrateful Askers, irritated Experts, and confused Authors — all things I've been myself at one time or another!

Just like I said, you're just TOOOO FAST, Miriam.  I actually feel good sometimes when I get to get my post in just a bit ahead of you.  LOL.

Seriously though, I've only had the pleasure of reading and being amazed by your posts for a few months; however, it didn't take long at all to realize what a major asset you are to this community.  I have to say that I truly appreciate your helpful and friendly attitude along with the wealth of knowledge you pass on.  Not only to newbies but to other "experts" who happen upon your answers.

You and your peers here display considerable professionalism, friendliness, humor, and uncanny knowledgeability, and I am quite glad that I decided to jump in to see if could answer some easy questions to get the free access.

Thanks!  It's great to have you on board here, and you've been doing a terrific job yourself.  You haven't been participating as an Expert very long (less than a year), but you've been around as an EE Member longer than half of the people on this thread - including me!

Sorry I'm late to the party.  I saw Markus' pending announcement and meant to get back after the threshold had been passed and then a whole bunch of things done happened which, apparently, is called life. ;-)

Well, this is indeed awesome to see.
The esteem, that everyone has held you in for so long, is hereby hailed publically by you passing this milestone and that which you also hold on the leaderboard (even if it is only temporarily).

You're an example to all and always to be listened to.
Long may it continue and hang on "up" there as long as you can. :-D

Hi guys.

Well, I had to swing by for this. :-)  Much too important to miss.

And I do call in once in a while.  My problem is I usually need a good while scanning the questions list before any will jump out at me.  So it takes a long time to "get into" a forum.  Consequently it'd take me years to aquire a million points now (as opposed to 3 months :-s)
I was much more like a question cookie monster back in the day ;-)

I do miss the old gang though - and will be around of course... bit by bit.

It is tempting to leave this open until a certain CV has to read it again, but let's not be mean.

I've been checking into this thread using my cell phone, and your picture wasn't showing up until I checked in from a real computer.  You got me laughing!

I was waiting to see your name pop-up on the list, but then I realised that the link is only to a blog entry, with a static list. Is there even a dynamic list? I do hope you got an e-mail, though.
