I've been testing with Citrix's VDI-in-a-box software and have come across a potential issue with licensing.  When I make my "golden image" I activate my software.  Then when users log in they get a fresh desktop copied from the "golden image".  When the user logs out the desktop is destroyed.  Every time a user logs in to a fresh desktop Windows needs to be activated.  There are a limited number of MAK activations available and would be depleted quickly if I kept this configuration.  My question is: if I use a KMS server will this allow me to activate these desktops an unlimited number of times or is there still an activation limit?  If anyone has experience with VDI-in-a-box do you have any tips or pointers on the subject?
