Console Cable connection to Windows 7 64 bit or 32 bit

I have searched for a driver for my console cable but coulnt found it.
I am connecting cisco switch from console cable to my laptop, my laptop didnt had the proper connector so i am using belkin serial to usb  connector.
i have tried lots of drivers, but it keeps displaying as an unknown device.
is there anyway i can connect this to my laptop.
my laptop is windows 7 64 bit, i have one more laptop, with windows 7 32 bit....

there are just 4 types of chip witch are used in RS232 to USB reductions. So you don't need driver from Belkin you can use another from other vendor with the proper chip.

If you want please write me what chip you have in the device.
