Mikal613,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Your suggestion led me to a solution -- there was a file in the backup that I imported to GMail, which then loaded as contacts to my phone.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Not ideal, but it worked.

I'm converting from an AT&amp;T HTC Tilt 2 phone to an Pantech Burst (9070) Android phone. I don't want to loose all my contacts, etc.<br />

I have a full backup of my HTC on a several PC's. I know that the file PIM.VOL is the windows mobile contact file. The issue that I'm running is how to convert the PIM.VOL file into a human readable format.<br />

I'll worry about uploading the contacts to the &nbsp;Pantech Burst burst as a separate issue.<br />
<br />
I'm not even really worried about turning it into a csv. Currently it opens with extended characters. I'd be happy even just to be able to read it.<br />
