Restrict a printer so only selected users can connect and print to it?
Hi all,
A quick verification, I have a printer that I only wish for certain users to use. Within the security settings of the printer on the server it is shared from, within the security tab I have the following:
Everyone
Creator Owner
Administrators
Server Operators
Print Operators
Server is Windows 2008R2.
I have changed this to:
Creator Owner
Administrators
Server Operators
Print Operators
Users that need access
Im a little confused about the Server Operators/Print Operators, are these both safe to remove as they have full permission?
Or are they required
Thanks
