citrix run windows 2000 app
I have Windows 2008 R2 servers and some 2000 servers. We are running Metaframe 2000 on one of the 2000 servers.
If I had to upgrade Citrix (XenApp) to run on 2008 server could Citrix still run the app on the 2000 server?

No you cant run 2000 server in latest version of xenapp 6.5. Xenapp 6.5 only for 2008 r2 servers. If you need old farm access to users then You can publish the application from same server by adding multiple forms in webinterface. One webinterface can handle multiple xenapp farms. So, is there any Citrix XenApp version which can reside on 2008 and access 2000?
My situation is that I have a 2000 app that cannot run on 2008. My desktops are XP Pro, so now everything okay, but in future Windows 7 desktop cannot install Citrix Metafame client. XP mode would only be short term solution and not even be available after 2014.
