Synchronize calendars between two seperate Exchange servers

I have a client that has an exchange server.  He have been given an exchange account on one of his client's exchange server.  My client wants to be able to synchronize all of his calendar data from both exchange accounts into his main exchange account.

Has anyone ever heard of this being done cleanly?  He also uses Outlook 2011 for Mac.

Thanks.

I assume these are separate forests then.. what version of Exchange? If 2010 you can use a federated delegation which does not apply to Exchange 2007.

That looks promising as long as the other exchange operator will cooperate.

I just found out that the only thing that really needs to be on the external exchange account is free/busy.  Does this make it easier or still the same thing?
Not really.. the federation process is the same.. but yeah you need the other side to agree of course :)
Reading through the technec article, it appears that this is mainly used to share certain information with outside parties.  This does not allow automatic replication or synchronization of the free/busy information from one party to the other.  Or am I missing this and it is able to do this?
That is correct.. you are accessing each others data.. not replicating\syncing anything. To do that you would likely need something like FIM which is considerable more work\cost.
FIM?

That's what I thought, but wanted to make sure.

So no matter how I look at it, it will be expensive and time consuming.

Thanks.
Afraid so.. at least if you need a true sync\replication solution instead of just free\busy info

I believe the Folder Sync software will work.  Thanks.  I'm getting ready to setup a VM to try it.
