Outlook today screen gives script errors
We are working on a new image for out company and some of our test users are trying to use the Outlook Today screen, but they get script errors.
An error has occurred in the script on this page
Line : 278 (varies)
Char:1
Error : class not registered
Code: 0
URL : outlook:today
When I go to the Customize Outlook today button I get similar errors and the Style options are not there.
I've tried the following fixes which don't work
1) Right click address - select data file properties - Home page tab - Restore defaults
2) Go into registry and delete the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Typelib\ {0006F062- 0000-0000- C00-000000 000046}\1. 0 & 1.1 folder
3) Saving updated profile after added Microsoft into the trusted sites which attempted to install active X, but got more script errors.
Any other suggestions.

Have you tried to delete and recreate the outlook profile?

yes, no luck
OK, just had the problem on one PC..
On another PC with same user it worked.
As it is a HTML site, I checked the Add Ins in IE.
So found there "Outlook Today's Data binding control which point so
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14\OUTLCTL.DL L
So registered this DLL again (and additionally OUTLFLTR.DLL and OUTLACCT.DLL
And at least my outlook works again.
Give it a try....
