DS Storage Manager can't access DS3524

I am assisting a client with problem with DS Storage Manager communicating with a DS3524 SAN. It looks like the IP addresses assigned to the management interface we apart of a DHCP scope. Other computer took the IP address and now the Storage Manager can't connect to the SAN> The client has released the IPs in DHCP.

User was able to telnet momentarily to the SAN but lost connection shortly after. We feel that the unit may be in lockdown mode. The disks are still fine and data is being read / written to.

If we issue the loadDebug and lemClearLockdown commands, will it affect only the management controller or the storage controllers? Will it interrupt data being written to or read to the disks?
