How to remove the comments box

Hi Everyone, I am having a hard time removing this comment box from the wordpress site I am working on.

http://terravant.com/bulkwines/index.php/go-shiner/

There is no main option, so I am trying to figure out which template - or which php file to remove it from. Please help!

Thanks!

Sure there is.  Just disable comments for that post or page. If you disable comments from Settings | Discussion then you disable it for a new content but existing content will still need to be disabled manually.

single.php and/or page.php  Both have PHP calls to comment functionality.

Here is the Page.php code and I cannot seem to find where it says disable comments. and in discussions I turned everything off, and unchecked allow comments, etc and they are still appearing! :/

Ah...

CyberChimps uses a complex (and very atypical) series of includes to get the stuff in place.  You have to really dig into their file system to find what you are looking for.

and in discussions I turned everything off, and unchecked allow comments, etc and they are still appearing! :/

When you disable it in Settings | Discussion, comments will still be enabled in previously published pages and posts.  Edit the individual page/post and disable comments there.

If the comment box still shows up, check to see if it is a cached copy of that page or past (dump the WP cache and the browser cache and reload).  If the comment box still shows up after properly disabling the settings then this a clue that you have chosen your theme poorly.

I figured it out. I just opened Comments.php up and cut everything out of there and it is no longer showing up. I saved a backup of the comments.php in case I ever want to use it. But thank you so much for helping me!!! :)

That's not really a solution.  You're using a shotgun to remove a fly from your hand.  You'll accomplish the mission at the cost of a mangled install.  If it works for you, though, go for it.
