Syncing Issue with Outlook 2007

I recently switched over our POP email service to the Office 365 hosted service. We have 2 computers running Outlook 2007 and 5 computers running Outlook 2010.

The Outlook 2010 PC's are able to sync properly but our 2 Outlook 2007 PC's usually get hung up on Send/Receive. I have navigated to Tools > Send/Receive > Send/Receive all and sometimes this will sync properly. Sometimes it will get stuck at Send/Receive ...%. Closing and opening Outlook 2007 usually fixes this problem.

I have verified that OWA is syncing properly.

Also, I have imported the .pst from the old POP account to the new Exchange account but have not deleted the old POP account yet just to make sure no emails were missed from the .pst import.

I was wondering what further steps I can take to remedy this problem.

==> Check your connection status, the time when your send /receive hung up.
==> Also, check if you get a small pop up box at right hand side corner stating "Outlook is trying to connect"
==> How big are your mailboxes?
==> Is the vendor informed about this?
==> Do you see any event id errors / warnings

Please try to Upgrade your Outlook to the recent ServicePack .... also check with the Add-Ons on the Outlook clients.

Is the Outlook 2007 Clients having Big mailboxes ?
Hope users have enough free space on the Drives and their OS is updated as well ?

Apparently, the pop account was trying to send/receive messages.

Tasks to remedy this issue was to turn off "Include the selected account" in Options > Advanced, Send/Receive settings, all accounts.

Old POP account was actively still trying to sync, disabled that account and is working fine now.
