how to stop downloading old emails while reconfiguring pop3 email account
Dear Experts,
i am going to reconfigure one pop3 email account, i have a backup of same account as pst file, but the problem is all emails start downloading again. how can i stop this?
I know that if i move emails from inbox to some other folder or deleted items it will not download them, but i dont want to move them from inbox.
looking forward for your kind replies.

Also POP3 emails are normally REMOVED from the server when downloaded - so you must be leaving them on the server for some reason I assume?
Only way to stop downloading emails from pop3 is to disable Receive on the client, but hard to figure out what exactly you are trying to do in the first place?
