GPO for restricting login but access to Exchange

I am asking how to go about handling ex-employees and ex-students so they cannot login to campus workstations but still able to authenticate to Exchange only?

I heard this may be possible through GPOs to a specific OU applied. Is this the best approach and what settings?

Thanks, the purpose would be to allow alumni access to exchange email but not be able to login to workstations on campus

Thanks in advance

Create group in AD, put everyone in it that should be able to logon to that
machine
then on that particular machine open the local security policy and on the
user rights node remove authenticated users (or everyone or both) from ALLOW
LOGON LOCALLY and put your group in there

This way only member of that group is allowed to logon locally to that
machine

Hi.

Could you clarify on what devices they would use to access echange mails?

You could Setup a GPO that denies them the privilege to logon locally and apply it on all Workstations. See  http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc728210(v=ws.10).aspx

Since there had been 2 weeks of no Feedback, I did not notice that rancy had already given the same answer - he deserves all the Points (and no C-grading, by the way... see http://www.experts-exchange.com/help/viewHelpPage.jsp?helpPageID=26 )
