installed Windows Ultimate over Home Premium and now wireless internet doesn't work

I purchased a HP Pavilion dv6-6c14nr which had Windows Home Premium 64 bit on it. I then installed Windows Ultimate 64 which I had purchased for my son but since he did not use it I went ahead and installed it on this one.

The Wireless Network does not work, saying that there is no driver and no network connectivity. I am staying at a hotel so I am not sure if a regular LAN would work or not. I used my other laptop to download all the HP drivers I could find and installed the ones for wireless and LAN ethernet. I see the driver for the LAN network, but I do not see anything for Wireless.

I am actually not exactly sure, but the light for the button that is supposed to be for wireless connectivity is lit up, so I guess it is a driver. Should I do a recovery (which I do not know how to do because I do not see a button on there like you see on some laptops such as a Lenovo?

Are you sure that you haven't disabled the Wireless Radio physically on the Laptop? There should be a button or a slide to enable or disable the wireless station..
I hpe youe have an access to internet , you can go to below link and download all network drivers from the listed .. total 8 is there and you can try to install all , this will fix the issue.

If anything you do let me know

Try downloading & installing the drivers again (you may have missed one) or not correctly installed them, or
If you can connect via lan cable then:
Go to HP site & click:
Let HP scan your system for out-of-date and missing drivers and software.

If you can connect via lan cable then open up windows update and search for new updates. You should get wireless drivers directly from microsoft. You will find them in optional updates and you will need to select them manually in order to install them
