url redirection problem apache tomcat httpd.conf

I have a working url "https://xyz@company.com" which works fine.Entering "http://xyz.company.com" also works fine and redirects to "https://xyz.company.com"
The DNS entries exist on the server/load balancer to redirect correctly to xyz.company.com.

The problem is when I enter "https://xyz"  or "http://xyz" I want it to direct to "https://xyz.company.com"

How can I do that using apache tomcat?

I have already tried using redirectengine ON

Thanks

You need to mention the redirect rules inside the virtual host entries of the corresponding domain in httpd.conf file.

Cheers!!!
