Getting a starnge error in MS Visual Studio 2003 - Microsoft.VisualStudio.DeviceConnectivity.NoProcessRunException

I had to do a minor tweak to 2 Pocket PC VB.Net apps created in VS 2003 - yeah going way back.

I did the first changes to one app and debugged all went well and that app is up and running again.

I made the exact same changes to the code (and very minor ones at that  - added a couple of more items to a combobox) and it won't debug.

All that I get for a message is:

 Microsoft.VisualStudio.DeviceConnectivity.NoProcessRunException

ActiveSync starts fine, I set up a guest partnership and still get that error on debug.

Searching the Web I find nothing.

So my failed attempts at fixing it were:

1) Reset the mobile device to factory settings
2) Restarted the computer

Still getting the error.

Any ideas as to what is going on?

Thanks

start new instance creates a full other environment to debug in.
When using the F5- you try to debug inside the Visual studio environment.

Maybe this helps

I solved it but still don't know why it did what it did. In the solution explorer I right clicked on the project and chose  Debug -> start new instance

That worked.
