Can I configure two separate raid1

Current configuration;
Intel server MB
Adaptec 29320A scsi controller card
Two scsi disk mirrored using adaptec bios.
Now I plan to do the following;
 Add two sata disks, mirror them by using win 2008 OS.
I must be able to boot with scsi disks since OS is installed on them.
Thank you

Yes, you are free to have a win2k8 dynamic disk software RAID and an Adaptec RAID.
So your original purpose is to create hardware and software RAIDs mix, right? Then there should be no problem.
But instead of using software mirror approach I would recommend getting SATA RAID controller and building two hardware RAIDs (SCSI and SATA).
Hardware RAID for a mirror might be expensive, and you certainly don't want to use any onboard RAID solutions.  Software RAID in this case would be a good, inexpensive solution.

Thank you all for recommendation but I still need to know if I could boot from scsi hardware raid since it is the OS, the sata raid1 would be shown in OS as D:\ for data
You should be able to boot from SCSI configured RAID if Windows and drivers are installed properly.

Thank you all for your responses, I decided to use windows 2008 dynamic (mirror) feature for data and hardware raid for OS. I also booted to OS with SCSI disks.
