Creating and managing a user's address book in Cisco 7975G IP Phone

Hello experts,

We have a Cisco 7975G phone working with Asterisk 1.6 PBX.

When the user clicks the directory button, there are only entries for:
1 Missed Calls
2 Received Calls
3 Placed Calls

There is no entry for personal directory. I need that to allow the user to add personal entries there.

How to enable such personal address book ?

The personal address book is a web service provided by the CallManager, which is the server intended to fully consume the 7975 features. If you develop your own solution based on Cisco's guidelines you will be able to serve a list of people through HTTP and XML:
