Accessing network drives

Can not access network drive. the error is saying you might not have permission to use this network resource. i am a domain adim and local administrator.

    permissions isn't the only possible problem.  is the drive online?  is it being shared property?

    i can access the drive from another computer that is identical to the this computer

    then it might not be a problem with user permissions, but device permissions.  

    is the device on the domain?  is it in the proper OU?
