StatusStrip Location

I have a StatusStrip. I right-click and select Edit Items..., then under Layout -> Location -> Y,  I click in the text field and change the number, then I hit return and the number reverts to the original. So something, perhaps another property, must have this locked, but I can't find what that is. Where is this?

    Accepted Solution

    By default, the Dock() property of the StatusStrip will be Bottom, causing it to "dock" to the bottom of the form.  This is what is overriding your attempts to modify the Location() property.  If you set Dock() to "None" then you can manually change the value...
