electric outlet

Hello there,
I would like to know if its possible to get an wifi electric outlet..
im not sure if this is the actual name or not but for example if I am not home
I would like to connect to my home and turn on the electric outlet and the night lamp would turn on.. does this exists?
something like this http://bit.ly/P8bSvp that would allow me to turn on and off each outlet..

yeah something like the amazon link to be able to turn on one lamp at night or the radio etc..

Yes... what you want to search for is "Home Automation".

There are a lot of solutions out there for this sort of thing.

For lighting... you have options to have a simple timer, with no PC control.... options that allow you to control it with a PC on your home network... or even control it from your apple IOS devices.

Thats the only wireless PDU that I can seem to find. You may be able to cable in a regular PDU, but the price on that one and the mobile features make it very attractive.
