spatial query google earth

I was wondering if there was a way to query google earth objects by drawing a square or rectangle on the display?

    you can draw objects/add placemarks and save them in KML/KMZ format in google earth

    The answer is no not without an app or another piece of software or script.
    You can do it when you have one of those.  Just follow the links that Dushan911 posted.
