Where to post a RFP for website development project to solicit vendors?

Hi,

I have a website development project and I like to know where I can post the project to get a request for quote (RFQ). Can you recommend a place to post this so vendors can respond? I am in the private sector, non-government.

Thanks.

I strongly recommend elance.com.  I have submitted many jobs there and referred clients.  The prices are great provided you don't mind using email and instant messaging as your primary method of contact.  You get a lot of responses from India.  But the work and price is top notch.

Some of the Experts on the site take on free lance work.  You can post on the EE Jobs Board to see if there are any Experts interested in your project.

Thanks, right now I am looking for quotes, so I am preparing a RFQ. Can anybody else recommend a source for posting RFQs? I am Seattle, WA and may prefer somebody local for the project.
