i got very first test PST of 4GB that i am trying to import to my exchange 2010 archive mailbox. it shows trasnferring 10%, 50 % and goes up to 99% then gives me an error as below.
"Import error: Could not load file or assembly 'System.Core, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."

    Assisted Solution

what happens if you perform a scanpst.exe on the file?  could be corruption in the pst causing the issue.

done PST scan that did fine some errors and repaired, may be it got corrupted while copying, thanks.

now while importing it gave me diffrent msg, "error opening mailbox"

looks like something to do with permissions but administrator have full access rights to my mailbox.

my issue is resolved now, problem was i was using outlook 2010 32bit so i had to uninstall outlook and PST capture.

then install outlook 2010 64bit and install capture PST, now importing fine.
