Date format in XML bound Chart

Posted on 2012-08-14

I'm trying to change the date format on the axis of a chart so it displays UK format.  The date comes in the format 2012-08-14.
Whatever I try is ignored.
Chart5.Series(0).XValueType = ChartValueType.DateTime
Chart5.ChartAreas(0).AxisX.LabelStyle.Format = "MMM d"

    Accepted Solution

What sort of date data are you reading from the XML?  Chart requires that your date values be in decimal format (use .ToOADate() to convert).
