Setting values across Sharepoint lists
I am using Infopath with Sharepoint. I know how to populate my dropdowns on my infopath form with values from a different list than the form is linked to.
Can I also change values on another list based on what was added to the form?
I want the form to set the values for it's own list, which it will do automatically, and then, based on the value in a particular field from that form, I want to be able to set a value on another cell, in a completely different list. Is it possible or will I have to break out Visual Studio and C#? Seems to me that if Infopath can retrieve data from other lists, it should be able to set data on other lists as well.
