Magento microsite

Hi,

I am hoping someone gave provide me with some advice about the following Magento implementation.

I am trying to add two Microsites for two different products using Magento. These microsites will share the same theme as the main website but will only contain information images and a shopping cart for the individual product.

I'm not sure whether I can just create a page for the product or use another method as there isn't any documentation available.

Any suggestions would be welcomed

Landing pages will still include the menu linking to other products etc

Not really what Magento is designed for. Look at other shopping carts that are not as intensive.
If it is just one product why not just create a static page for it.

I still have to have the shopping cart available for the product and it must be visible in the main site navigation menu... I get what you are saying but I would need to integrate the payment gateway into the static page!

If it's already in the main site why would you need a seperate site?
When you say microsites do you mean seperate websites or seperate stores?

GaryCommented:
You can still have a static page that submits to Magento's cart etc.

I'm very sure that it can be done I just need to know how? The "microsite" must not showcase any other products but still have the shopping cart...

The products already on the website? If not just add it.
Go to the product page, save as html and just strip out anything from the html that points to other products
Then you have a page that will still work within Magento
