Remove Profile Path with ADMODIFY

I need to know how to remove multiple users profile path (profilePath) using ADMODIFY. I have tried setting the value to "NOT SET" and "". This did not work.

    As you have not mentioned a specific location where these users are, here is an example for say HR department users assuming they have the word "HR" in their description:

    adfind -default -f "(&(objectCategory=person)(description=*HR*))" -dsq |admod "profilePath::\\<File server share path>Profiles\HR"

    Can you use Windows PowerShell module for AD or Quest PowerShell module for AD for that ?

    Windows PowerShell requires 2008R2 Domain Controller and Quest can be downloaded for free from

    That's not so simple to clear that value :)

    You need to download the free tools from the below site

    Namely adfind and admod

    I was able to use admodify. It worked like a charm. You need to go to the custom tab and specify the profilePath attribute with null as the value.
