Can anyone provide a typical time estimate for installing sequel server 2008 service pack 3 ?
Hardware is Xeon 2.5GHZ 64 bit, 8GB RAM

It shouldn't take more than an hour or so if you've already got it downloaded.  Either way, I would plan the installation for after hours as not to interrupt anyone working and in case any issues arise.

Also, I'm fairly certain it requires a reboot.
