Cannot Access Mapped Drives unless using IP Address

I have a computer that cannot access mapped drives on our file server unless we map them by ip address instead of the server name. I have tried using a different user, rejoined the domain, GPO force, flushed DNS, reset the IP stack, and checked host files.  All the other computers are fine.

What else should I try in order to resolve this issue?

Can you browse the network in explorer?

In explorer i can only browse the network if i put the IP address of the server in, if i try to navigate by \\servername I only get a few folders.
