Run Lotus Notes Agent quarterly

I have a Lotus Notes agent that I want to schedule run quarterly. How can I do that? I see there is an option to run daily, weekly, and monthly but no quarterly.

There is no such option. Choose one of the other options, and decide at the start of the agent if the agent should continue or not. For the sake of flexibility we had a daily agent that executed the main code only weekly. A configuration document determined when it was to execute. The other days it ran and terminated directly after testing the day of the week. You can do something similar in your code: run the agent monthly and terminate the agent two out of three times.

Agreed, I do the same with various agents to give users control over their execution without needing design change.  Schedule it daily, or several times daily as appropriate and then check configuration profile/document for that one to see when they want it to run.

In this case put it on monthly, set day to 1st or whatever and then check month(today) at the top, i.e.

Select Case Month(Today)
      Case 1,4,7,10
            'YourSub()
      Case Else
            ' Record in log not for today please...
End Select

or

IF (month(today)-1) MOD 3 = 0 then
   ' Is Jan, Apr, July, October
End If
