Previously I have configured the VMWare networking by<br />

Then I went to the VM-&gt;Edit Settings and added the appropriate port group</code></pre>

However, now that I am in the VM, I see where I can go to the following path<br />

VM-&gt;Edit Seetings-&gt;Network Adapter 1-&gt;Add Ehternet adapter<br />
<br />
Then I can select a Connection and adapter<br />

What does this method do that the previous method does not. &nbsp;What does this actually do ?

What does this method do that the previous method does not.  What does this actually do ?
