Single public shared calendar losing appointments on exchange server 2010; twice so far

Hello,

Very strange phenomenon noted at a recent ES 2010 upgrade.  Client upgraded from SBS 2003 including Exchange Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008 R2 and Exchange Server 2010.  Everything went well initially.

Now about 6 weeks out, and we have noted two instances where the singel shared public calendar has lost most of the entries.  When it happened a couple of weeks back, we became aware of issu about one week after loss and so restored the backup public and exported to a .pst, and then created a second shared calendar as read-only for comparison with the main original.  Also re-imported same into main again.  Then, as of this morning, same thing happened where most fo the future and some past appointments are gone.  Ran the EXFolders to un-delete and only found about 10 items, which were likely legitimate deletions...

Appreciate any help from specialists that really know ES 2010

THanks all for the great thoughts.

Turned out to be an issue with MS Exchange 2010 and a residual relatipnship with previous Windows Exchange 2003 server following migration.  We had to have Microsoft on the line and in the box to evaluate and confirm and clean up all remnants from previous ES Server.  They reported that if there are residual ES 2003 servers in the forest, with replication between same, then such can happen.  Clean-Up hppened using ADSIEdit, and the problem has been resolved.,
