Exchange 2010 / Outlook 2010 - Mailbox Size Limits

I thought Exchange 2010/Office2010 did not limit mailbox size to 2GB, however the Office 2010 mailbox data shows a limit of 2GB for each user.

Looking at  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/832925 it appears it depends on mail box format

How do I convert the mailboxes to accept more than 2GB of data?

Outlook doesnt has the limit ... mailbox limit is imposed on the server.

So do you mean that mailbox cannot accept  more than 2GB they get some warning Mailbox is full or something ?

On Exchange EMC go to user Properties -> Mailbox Settings -> Storage Quota .... whats the data set for "Issue warning at, Prohibit Send at and Prohibit Send and Receive at" ?

Looking at this article it seems to indicate that depending on mailbox format, there is a 2gb limit.

If the limit is setto user it takes presendence over GLobal settings :) it works in the different direction.

Check your mailbox database limits. in EMC, it is under Organization Config->Mailbox. find your data base, right click and properties, should be under the "Limits" tab.

So maybe if its by default oon all users they are picking the information from the Mailbox Database .. also as stated above
