Can you explain what you mean by "HTML Control"? Perhaps the WebBrowser control is what you are looking for.

I mean custom control for Visual Studio - C#.
You can have custom combobox control, custom datagrid control, chart control, RTF control and many other custom controls for Visual Studio 2010 - Winforms.
The one I am interested in is  a custom HTML control.

Thank you, Iosif.

A windows form by itself cannot host a HTML control. It is very different kind of rendering. You will need to create a custom Windows control.

Why do you think you need an HTML Control?

What exactly do you want to accomplish?

I have an application written in C# 2010 with an RTF(Rich Text Format) Control and it works great. My customer also has a web interface now so is much easier if the Windows Application can save the text as HTML and load HTML from an ORACLE Table, I would like to replace the RTF Control and use a Custom HTML Control.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you.

the best HTML editor for Windows Forms is probably http://www.spicelogic.com/Products/NET-Win-HTML-Editor-Control-8

if you want to try a free one, check http://xstandard.com/

You can easily load a  WebBrowser control with a local file or string of HTML--it does not have to load an actual web address (as might be inferred from the control's name).

Do you have a sample code to load the HTML in the browser control and save the edited HTML from the browser control. The HTML control needs to have a few basic commands like Bold, Italic, Underlined, Bulleted and Numberred List at minimum.

Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Thanks, Iosif.

I must have missed the part where you said you wanted to edit the content. If that is the case, then emoreau's suggestions are probably the direction you will want to go.

The http://www.spicelogic.com/Products/NET-Win-HTML-Editor-Control-8 looks great but is a bit too pricey for me. The cost is USD 425.

If you know of any other less expensive or free would be great.

Thanks, Iosif.
