It's a desk phone, not a cell phone - I don't know of any desk phone which has password protection to access it.  Are you referring to voice mail access?  If so, see p.44 http://edocs.mitel.com/UG/EN/5320_UG_EN.pdf

No, it's not voice mail password. I meant if it's possible to add password for the phone, so that the user who don't know the password can't use that phone.

thanks.

Then my original comment stands - it's not like a cell phone.  I don't know of any desk phone which has this feature.  Why do you want to do this?  Remove or lock up the phone if you don't want others using it.

[Video] Oticon Case Study

Open office environments can create the dynamics for innovation, but they also bring some challenges. With over 1,000 employees in an open office, Oticon needed a solution that would preserve the environment while mitigating disruptive background noises.

Watch how they did it.

We have a phone put in a library, lots of students use it. Faculty complained that they only want it be used by them.

There's nothing in the documentation that says you can add a password for access.  The staff should put the phone in a restricted area if they don't want the public to use it.

I think there is a function named "phone lock". Please see the print screen for the manual. I just don't know how to activate this feature. Is there any help here for achieving that?

Thanks.

You add the phone lock to a feature key:

To program a Phone Feature or hard key:
1. Press the blue Applications key .
2. Press Settings.
3. Press Programmable Keys.
4. Press the key you wish to program.
5. If applications are displayed, press View Features.
6. Use the Page Navigation keys to move through the features list.
7. Select the desired feature or fixed function key from the list. A default label is
automatically assigned to the key, except for Speed Call and Private Speed Call.
8. Enter the required information in the fields provided, if necessary.
9. If you are programming any feature other than Speed Call, Message Waiting Indicator,
Call Park, Call Park Retrieve, Group Park, Group Presence, or Personal Ring Group,
press Save and you are finished with this procedure. If you are programming any of the
features listed above, perform the following steps:
¿ Press Edit Info.
¿ Press Edit Number.
¿ Enter the appropriate numbers that correspond to the phone whose messages you
wish to be notified of (Message Waiting) or the directory number (Call Park/other
features).
10. Press OK.
11. Press Save.
12. Press Close.
