Remove KMS
We have recently stood up a KMS server, and followed every how to and instructions ever given. The issue is that our tech got a hold of the KMS activation Key and entered it in many laptops. Now according to DNS there are about 7 KMS server on the network. We have imaged over 50 machines and "THE KMS SERVER" that was supposed to be the KMS server only shows 9 activated.
I am thinking the other machines are talking to other KMS servers, so I need some insight on how to remove the others without make the others a MAK activation. I have tried the /ckms, /rearm, /ato commands and deleted the machines from dns...However they keep coming back as KMS Servers.
Any suggestions on how to permanently remove these machines without starting fresh on the laptops, and transferring the other activated KMS machines to the proper KMS server?
