Access 2007 Another Question related to the other questions on the TradeShow

Please find attached Order subform we have developed from a query.  The reason we want the user to enter codes and have the description come in automatically.  We do not want the user to enter anything in But Code and Qty.  Our Update Query is updating the Product Orders file, but our displays are showing incorrect data, becuase everytime the Order SubForm loads and a code is put in, the display available is doubling and giving waco results for available.  We need to know a correct available for each product code after a sale is made.

We do not want the query that handles the order subform creating bad results.  So we have our data correct in the product table each time a product is sold, but eroneous results occur when we try to enter additional records, becuase multiples are occuring.

There isn't enough information from that screen shot  to figure out what's going wrong.  One point I will make is standard database design practice not store values that can be calculated - such as your quantity.  Storing data that constantly changing introduces errors in many cases.

In the case of numbers doubling, it usually indicates a record in one table joins to more than one row in the table(s) it's joined to.
