Hello Experts,

I 'm using AJAX PageMethods, to check whether data entered in textbox in Database, if found, then want to update rest of the fields.

But I cannot do this because my method is Shared(VB.NET) and this is the first time I'm using Webmethods in my application. When I try to access my other textbox controls under that webmethod I get this error:

Cannot refer to an instance member of a class from within a shared method or shared member initializer without an explicit instance of the class.

Is any other way to update text boxe's, it should be Client-Side only.
