Suddenly my Firefox stopped playing any flash or YouTube videos!
What do you think happened?

Corrupt flash install, possibly from a incomplete or corrupt update.

Uninstall and reinstall flash.

feesu--You say suddenly.  Is this also recently?  If so run a System Restore to a date before it happened.
If no help be aware that Firefox uses a different Flash Player vs. IE.  Get the latest here

Ok experts, I have followed your advices and noticed the following:
When I uninstalled flash players and plugins, I reinstalled the player, and the flash images started playing (for example a t-shirt image on a clothing site that is with flash), however, when tried to open videos on facebook, it said "get flash player, with a link, I clicked on the link and downloaded the flash and installed it, but then it showed a blank video on facebook instead of the previous message that said "get flash player", and surprisingly, the flash images on the clothing sites stopped showing as well after installing the player plugin!

What browser are you using?

Make sure you clear out all of your caches, if possible uninstall/reinstall the browser.

The whole subject is about Firefox.

Sorry I was doing to many things @ once and completely skipped that little detail ;)

Uninstall and reinstall firefox.

Also have you tried it in IE? IE will have a competely seperate flash plugin, just curious to see if that will work.

Both Firefox and Adobe have been pounding out the updates lately, I have seen a lot of random issues like this come up. Clean installs usually solve everything

Sorry for the long long delay in replying. Yes, IE works fine, it is only Firefox, and uninstalling it didn't solve the problem.

feesu--As bit_rot suggested earlier uninstall Flash Player, but use the Flash Player uninstaller.

I do not know if that will uninstall the FF Plug In as well, but try it.  You can always uninstall that separately if necessary from Control Panel|Programs and Features.
Then reinstall both Player

and Plug In from FF Tools|Addons

FF works fine for flash and youTube videos now. But not for videos under Facebook. Is that the same?

feesu--Glad to hear the initially posted problem is fixed.
I do not use Facebook, so cannot help.  Perhaps post another thread with that problem.
