1. generate image code
2. get image code

is a change to httacess required
(because I may not be able to do on shared server)

Think about what you want and explain in detail about what you want to accomplish.
You can use an image to pass variables to a php page which then in turns does something with that information.
But you need to explain what you are trying to achieve.
