Olaf,

Yes, I went through the help file and more.  This thing does have some potential for a nuisance problem (renaming class control back to the root) but needs a bit more work.  I am going to take a look at it as the source code is on VFPX.  The APP is suppposed to load and upon access the Builder for an object you are suppose to be able to choose between the BUILDER and the Control Renamer.  Get back shortly.

Frank
Once I did use the "Stand-alone operation" to manually call DO CodeRenamer.app WHILE a form was open it worked and I also got the builder.

Are you perhaps expecting a wizard/assistant entry in the menu?
You get to the builder by right click and choosing builder from the context menu, while you edit a form.

Bye, Olaf.
Still no progress?

Have you installed vfp in the default directory? Have you given yourself write access to Home()? Otherwise CodeRenamer.APP has no chance to add itself into builder.dbf

Bye, Olaf.
Yes, I did setup with write access to HOME().  What is odd is that I am having this problem only with the Project that was active when I installed the program.  All my other projects work perfectly, with the option menu (Builder or Control Renamer) popping up correctly when every I access Builder.

I am going to write the developer on this as it is a very handy tool.

Olaf, I was not able to the thing to work.  I am going to unstall it and reinstall, see if that works.
