SSRS 2008 - Bar width not consistent in bar graphs

Hi,

I have a Column bar graph report (ssrs 2008). Report parameters are start year,End year,Gender . When start year and end year are same the width of the bar is more when compared with bars when start and end years are different. I have Year on X axis and Number on Y axis.
Point width property I have set is PointWidth=0.2.

Attached are the screenshots of the reports for 2 scenarios.
Scenario 1- Start and End year same
scenario 2 - Start and End year different.
I want to show same width of the bar irrespective of year selection

One more case more scenario.
I have range chart graph and set a bar line  PointWidth=0.05. Series lines width is not consistent as shown in the attached figure.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Try setting PointWidth to 1 and PixelPointWidth to 10 (or some other value).

About the line thickness. When you set the zoom level to 200% are the lines still different. And when you open the report in the browser, do you have the problem there also.
Also I see a warning message in your GraphReport-ThinThickLines-Issue.png screenshot. Maybe try to fix that warning and see if that helps.
If that doesn't solve it can you upload the report so I can try to duplicate your problem.

ASKER

Hi,
First issue got fixed. I have set  PointWidth to 1 and PixelPointWidth to 10. Now when I run the report for start and end year is same the width remains constant. Width remains constant when start and end year are different.

For second issue I am attaching the report files. I have set PixelPointwidth =1 and pointwidth=0.03. The lines look almost consistent. When you closely observe  some lines are still thick and thin.Could you please help me ?

If you solved it, I'm very curious what caused the problem.
