Xbox360 controller for Win7

I realize I'm not directly answering your question, but I use a wireless XBox360 controller on my computer. (Granted I had to buy an additional receiver since it's wireless.) I imagine the wired controller should work if the wireless one does.

Since it has a USB plug you can use it for the PC as well.

It's a basic USB game controller. I use it with some of my emulators and don't have to configure a thing!

Windows 7 should recognize the need for any drivers and grab them from Windows Update (at least it did with the adapter I had to buy).

XBox 360 games though will not work in your computer. The controller will be used for controlling PC games.

yes, i want to use the controller for pc games. so, if i buy the controller i'll be able to play pc games and if i have an xbox 360 then i can connect to it?
