Error OAB - Sending Emails

Just got an error from a user complaining. The following appears when sending an email:

/O=ORGANISATION/OU=FIRST ADMINISTRATIVE GROUP/CN=RECIPIENTS/CN=USER On Behalf Of USER

Any idea why this is happening? Do they just need to download and update the OAB?

Thanks,

First of all is UserA supposed to be sending emails on behalf of someone?

If yes, we can work towards resolving it - if not, please ask userA to send emails from OL and Webmail and provide feedback.

UserA is supposed to be sending emails on behalf of someone. I have checked the permisions and its all fine.

In regards to OWA, I cannot check this as the user is now currently offline.

Fine, so it seems UserA is caching information about UserB that isn't correct.

Provide another userC send on behalf as for UserB - repeat same steps that UserA is working, and check for results. If this works good - remove the permission for UserA and re-add it and re-test sending emails (allow at least 1-2hrs for AD to settle down)

Even after re-adding permission for UserA if the issue doesn't get solved, have UserA rebuild his OL profile and test.

Does the user has both SendAs and "Send-on-behalf" as well ?
If the issue is happening you could try to re-create the Outlook profile ?
If the issue still happens try to remove and readd the SendAs also make sure used doesnt has the SendAs.

One more IMP point is that if UserA is trying to send email on behalf of UserB ... than from the From filed he can either select the UserB from GAL or enter UserB's Primary email address :)
