Chrome - Flash Player - How to Keep Pepper Flash from Enabling Automatically

I'm using Chrome, but I'm having a lot of Flash crashing issues and severe lag when playing various Facebook games.  I've gone to about:plugins and have disabled the Chrome Flash and the Pepper Flash and after doing so things will be pretty good for close to a day, (sometimes less), but when I start getting the crash/lag issues back again I check and find that PepperFlash has Enabled on its own.  It's causing conflicts to have more than one Enabled.

I would like to use only the Adobe Macromedia Flash Player and ONLY that one.  How can I get Chrome to stop automatically Enabling other Flash Players when it does its updates?

The "Always Allow" box has no checkmark.

did you try using this in your browser:  chrome://plugins/ and go to the details (on the right) to see all the plug in settings?

There is some problem with pepper flash that many are having.

If you do the disable (listed above) does it re-enable only after closing and re-opening a browser window. In other words, do you have to manually disable every time you open your browser?

I have disabled any Flash found in the about:plugins area of Chrome except the one from Macromedia.  The general one in the Chrome folder will stay disabled but the PepperFlash will re-enable itself.  Sometimes it's later the same day, sometimes day or two later.

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

I looked up that issue online (on the Google chrome forum) and other people are having the same problem - and there was no fix posted.

Here is the forum: https://productforums.google.com/forum/?fromgroups=#!topic/chrome/IbDmAaVwMvo

I guess I can't give you much help - sorry!

Thanks for trying.  The issue continues.  Not sure if I should close this question or wait for more answers.

I think you might be able to get this question moved into a new topic - I think there is a topic for Web Browsers and specifically there is one for Google Chrome. I wish I knew how you get a question moved, but I think you can contact support for help with that.
