Windows Domain IP Network change

Hi All,

I have a Windows 2000 Domain where it is present in 10.1.X.X network. This includes windows XP & 7 machines

Now I had to moved to 192.168.X.X, I had change domain server & DHCP to point to 192.168.X.X from the previous 10.1.X.X.

However after shift some of my machines are not getting connected to internet, they are able to communicate internally. Some clients are working normally.Issue is with Windows 7 Machines (Some are working & some not)

I had direclty changed IP on server & haven't cleaned anything. Please let me know What whould be the cause & how to resolve the issue.

I see realtek ethernet controller disconnected from the network in System event log on all the problematic machines.

Dumb question but have you tried running the command (from Command Prompt)

IPCONFIG/RENEW

If so and it still won't connect, let me know.
Also, make sure in DHCP that you've set your router and DNS servers up correctly to reflect the change to a different IP range.

Some system's are working..Issue is with some systems. If setup is wrong then every one fails?
I had run Ipconfig /renew
Ipconfig /release
all sort of commands tens of time

If you give the problem workstations static IPs can they get out to the Internet?

If all you did was change subnets, your controller isn't going to affect that.  Make sure in light of my last comment that these machines don't have static IPs still on the 10.x.x.x network.
I had also tried giving static IP's , it didnt work.

No static IP's on my network all are set to DHCP
After you set them with Static IPs, do this:

IPCONFIG/FLUSHDNS
IPCONFIG/REGISTERDNS
NETSH INTERFACE IP DELETE ARPCACHE

and in that order... let me know the results...
registration of DNS servers failed. No DNS servers configured for local system
Ping your DNS servers... if you get a response good, if not, bad, and let me know

then

Go to your adapter properties and then go to advanced and check the DNS tab... if there's nothing there, put your DNS servers there.
I had restarted the machine & i was able to ping my DNs servers & executed all the steps you had mentioned.

Every step is successful but I'm not getting internet
